Old First Reformed Church is home to Chocolate Chip Chamber Music.
An integral part of Brooklyn, Old First has been a continuous congregation for
over 350 years. It has occupied the building at the corner of 7th Avenue and
Carroll Street since the 1880's when construction of the Brooklyn Bridge opened
up the borough and Park Slope was born.
Today, Old First is in the center of one of the most vital and creative neighborhoods in NYC. Thus, the fourth of Old First’s five mission statements reads: "Old First seeks to offer Hospitality to Community Groups and the Arts". In this spirit, Old First opens its doors to the Chocolate Chip Chamber Music series. Our special thanks to the Consistory of Old First, Fourth Mission and Joyful Noise Committees, and especially to the Reverend Dr. Daniel Meeter.
